Deadly Reflections

The Lightning League helped the people of Eldor set up a permanent barrier against the Monster Minds. This barrier was a powered shield that drew its energy from that planet's unique magnetic field. Once the League was finished setting up the shield towers, Gillian turned it on. The shield snapped into existance around the world and successfully repelled the invading vines. In gratitude, the people gave the League one of Eldor's rarest plants.

But the peace and quiet was short-lived. Saw Boss sent a satellite broadcasting Audric's signal into a space portal. This space portal is unusually dangerous, being a gateway to a negative universe, caused by the temporary alignment of seven nearby planets. The League investigated the signal and barely managed to escape being drawn into the portal.

In the process of escaping, the Pride brushed against the portal, drawing out their negative counterparts from the other side. Saw Boss offered the evil League half of the universe in exchange for them destroying their good "twins." The two Leagues fought, causing enough damage to the Pride for it to crash-land on a Monster Mind planet.

Saw Boss ordered the evil League to land on Eldor and turn off the barrier shield. Jayce and Oon fought the enemy forces while the others repaired the ship. The League discovered that their evil counterparts were on Eldor and raced off to stop them.

By showing the natives the rare plant that had been given to them, they proved that they were the "real" Lightning League. They lured the evil League back to the portal and tricked them into returning to their own universe.

The planetary alignment shifted, and the portal closed for another 732 years.
