"Sky Kingdom"
Audric's trail had grown cold. Jayce inputted all his knowledge of his father into the Pride's computer, then asked it to find the most likely planet that the scientist could be on. There was not enough information for the search to work, so Gillian magically added what he knew.
As a result, the computer found the planet Zartan Omega in the Artillian Sector. That was a world orbiting a red dwarf star which emitted blue alpha rays, under which only special plants could grow. Monster Minds could not survive under that type of radiation, so it would be the perfect place for Audric to hide.
The Pride flew there only to find the giant mushroom cities of the planet in ruin. The Monster Minds had placed a small satellite between the planet and the star which converted blue alpha rays into normal red light, allowing vines and troopers to invade at will. The native plants were starving without the blue rays, slowly dying and falling into decay. The only mushroom city that remained strong was the capital of the planet, and it was weakening due to sharing its strength with the other cities. Flora talked to the mushroom capital and convinced it to hang on a little while longer.
The Pride's navigational antenna had been damaged in a Monster Mind attack, so Oon, with his metal body, took its place. Gillian studied the Monster Mind satellite and discovered a frequency that could be used to control it. While Herc, Jayce, and the natives fought against the Monster Mind troops, Gillian changed the satellite's settings. The light wavered back and forth from blue alpha rays to red light as both sides struggled to control the satellite. Gillian finally redirected the satellite beam elsewhere, and it exploded from all the stress.
The Monster Mind vines swiftly withered under the blue alpha rays, their troops were vanquished, and the mushroom cities were rejuvenated. The planet was saved now and in the future, thanks to Gillian inventing a device to make any new satellites inoperative.
Herc: "Hey, you've been messing with that for hours, hotshot. What're you up to, anyway?"
Jayce: "What else, trying to figure out how to find my father! The trail's cold again!"
Herc: "Well, that's a pretty big universe out there."
Jayce: "That's why I'm using the computer. I've put everything I know about my father into it, hoping it will calculate where he might have gone."
Herc: "Might save a lot of time finding him, if it works."
Gillian: "A truly splendid idea, my boy -- splendid! Is it ready?"
Jayce: "I hope so. This is our only hope."
Gillian: "I practically raised your father. Perhaps I could add a little something..."
Jayce: "Herc, set a course for Zartan Omega!"
Herc: "Okay... but believe me, you've never seen weird cities till you've seen the one on Zartan Omega!"
Herc: "If that isn't a Monster Mind satellite, I'll eat an asteroid!"
Jayce: "Oon, you come with me!"
Oon: "Are-Are you sure you don't want me to stay in here and help Gillian? I-I mean, who's going to protect the Zoggies? A-A-And, uh, uh..."
Jayce: "Oon!"
Oon: "I-I'm coming... Master, I'm coming."
Flora: "Dear dear plant, don't give in now! We're going to help you, but you have to help us. There! There, I felt you getting stronger! You can do it, yes you can!"
Saw Boss: "Once again, that infernal boy and his troublemakers have meddled in my affairs. Increase the sunbeam!"
Jayce: "Herc, I'll take Oon with me in Armed Force. You take Spike Trike."
Herc: "Ahhh, how do I get into these things?"
