THE ROOT: Wheeled Warriors Vehicles: Armed Force
|
ARMED FORCE
Toy Made:   Yes
Function According to Toy Box:   Leader
Special Equipment:
- Anti-Gravity Charges:
These are used to blow Monster Mind vehicles off their tracks.
- Arm/Claw/Crushing Claw:
This device has enormous strength and can be used for everything from grabbing Monster Minds to smashing stones. The golden arm may also be electrified, so that it can drive away Monster Mind vines by touch.
- Canopy:
The shape of Armed Force's glass canopy shields its passengers from sonic attacks.
- Density Decreaser:
This device allows the vehicle to pass through solid objects such as mountains and Monster Mind troopers. It has a tendency to fail, so Jayce only risks its use when there is no other choice.
- Expander Missile:
This type of projectile stuns Monster Minds and collapses their prostheses and outer guns.
- Floodlights:
Located behind the front panel, these lamps give off a bright light. They can be used to blind enemies or illuminate dark places.
- Liquid Oxygen Gun:
Freezes and crystallizes Monster Minds instantly. When struck after crystallization, the bodies of the enemy troops shatter into glass-like shards.
- Locator:
Scans the surrounding area for lifeforms.
- Mega-Launcher:
Fires missiles which coat Monster Mind optics with an icy film, thus blocking their vision.
- Petrification Ray:
This ray turns the enemy troopers, other vehicles, and vines into solid stone.
- Rocket Wire:
A rocket with an attached line, fired from Armed Force's front panel, that can wrap around any stationary object. It is used to pull Armed Force up steep or slippery inclines.
- Side Compartment:
Used to store objects, such as spare weaponry.
- Spray Cannon:
A small grey cannon, located behind the front panel, that ejects high-powered streams of liquid and other substances. This cannon can be used to buffet Monster Minds with water and fire or can be used to emit ice beams and skid gun fluid.
- Turbo-Chargers:
These chargers can give Armed Force a quick burst of extra speed in emergencies.
Appearance:
Imagine a construction crane redone in a compact utilitarian style, throw in remote control and loads of sci-fi weaponry, and you've got Armed Force. The vehicle is light tan with a golden yellow arm, a light blue glass canopy, a grey front panel, thick grey wheels, and grey and white side guns. Black, hexagonal electronic panels are in place on both sides of the vehicle. It has a slim, rectangular shape. The canopy can be raised whenever people need get in or out. Armed Force has two seats. The front seat houses the main control panel with which the vehicle is driven. The control panel boasts various buttons and blinking lights, the vehicle's steering wheel, and a right-side lever used to control the arm. The back seat has a smaller version of this control panel, which Oon often accesses in emergencies.
History:
Armed Force was created by Gillian for Audric in Escape from the Garden. The vehicle was given to Jayce when his father was unable to join them.
It is generally considered Jayce's personal vehicle. He has learned to use it extremely well, and drives it in almost every episode. Herc can also handle Armed Force with a high degree of skill. Oon can use the vehicle when necessary, but he usually prefers to leave the driving to others.
