BATTLE STATION

Toy Made:   No

Function:   Combat Fortress

Special Equipment:

  • Armor Plating: Provides immunity from laser fire and other physical attacks.

  • Ramming Ability: Battle Station can run over or ram into most opponents with impunity. It can demolish whole buildings by slamming into them repeatedly. (Lizzard's Note: In this respect, it is rather like a bratty two year old child with a bucket on his head.)

Appearance:

Battle Station is Battle Base's evil twin. It looks like a fortress on wheels, because hey, that's what it is. It's a deep blue-black in color and has numerous yellow rectangular windows scattered over its surface. It also has a green brain resting under a glass bubble on its roof and vines scattered across its body. (Lizzard's Note: This season, vine accents are in, with a touch of brain matter to add contrast.)

History:

Battle Station is not one of the original Monster Minds created by radiation in Audric's lab. It was created by the Monster Minds themselves later in the series. It has no humanoid form, as it is merely a living weapon.

Battle Station was sent out to fight Battle Base and Trail Blazer during the siege of the Great Library of Hebron in The Purple Tome. Battle Station ran right over Trail Blazer, squishing the mighty vehicle completely flat. Then Battle Station repeatedly slammed itself into Battle Base, eventually upending and knocking it on its side. After his troops were defeated in the library, Saw Boss ordered Battle Station to destroy the building. It rammed into the structure several times and was about to demolish the library when Jayce called upon the Ring of Light. Battle Station was shrunk to a tiny size, along with the other Monster Minds.

Despite its awesome power, Battle Station is only seen in action once in the entire television series. Presumably this is because creating and maintaining a Battle Station requires more resources than the Monster Minds can regularly afford to spare.
