THE ROOT: Wheeled Warriors Vehicles: Beast Walker
|
BEAST WALKER
Toy Made:   Yes
Function According to Toy Box:   Combat Creature
Special Equipment:
- Laser Cannon:
Located on the front right shoulder, this gun emits massive bursts of laser fire.
- Legs:
Beast Walker can kick, walk, run, and stomp with its legs. The legs give Beast Walker an advantage in rocky terrain but in normal circumstances they cause the vehicle to move much slower than the rest of the Monster Mind machines.
- Pincer Claw:
This claw can be used to grab hold of other objects, such as Trail Blazer's buzz-saw extension.
- Ramming Ability:
Beast Walker can run over or ram into most opponents.
Appearance:
Beast Walker looks a big purple metal cow with a stupid grin on its face. Its rectangular body is a grey-violet color with green vine accents. Beast Walker's head is egg-shaped and has a massive green brain on the top. The head also has rectangular orange optic sensors, a hideous white grin, and a green pincer claw jutting out just below the mouth. Beast Walker has two small laser guns, one on either side of head. Its right shoulder supports a laser cannon, while the left holds a radar dish.
History:
Beast Walker is used primarily for heavy-duty intimidation and/or backup in dire situations. It is the trooper usually called upon to fight Trail Blazer.
It has been ordered to crush the Lightning League vehicles several times. In Fire and Ice, Beast Walker attempts to demolish the League vehicles by walking over them. The stalker also attempts to step on Armed Force in the first part of the Liberty Stone miniseries. The only time Beast Walker is shown growing from a blossom is in this same episode.
There is only one Beast Walker per enemy troop, presumably because creating and maintaining these large machines requires so much of the Monster Minds' precious resources.
The original humanoid Beast Walker never speaks in the series. He merely hangs around Saw Boss' throne like a mute groupie.
