GUN GRINNER

Toy Made:   Yes

Function According to Toy Box:   Enforcer

Special Equipment:

  • Ambusher: A flexible bolo-whip stalk with five spiked balls at the tip. The ambusher is used to attack enemies, throw objects, and grab things. The stalk can be stretched out in order to reach objects at a distance.

  • Tri-Gun: This three-barreled gun, located between Gun Grinner's front teeth, can emit laser bursts and eject skid gun fluid onto the ground. It can be raised and maneuvered in order to fire on targets in the air.

Appearance:

Gun Grinner is a compact little trooper. It is dark brown in color. It has triangular yellow eyes, red and yellow stripes on its forehead, and a big stupid grin. The tri-gun looks like it is being clenched in the vehicle's teeth. Four grey wheels are connected to a frame that supports the chassis. The green ambusher is perched on the top of Gun Grinner's head.

History:

Gun Grinner is the Monster Minds' primary muscle machine. The trooper is often used for combat, guard duty, and reconnaissance.

Gun Troopers frequently work with K.O. Troopers and Terror Troopers. Their favorite attacks seem to be firing lasers, slamming into opponents, and using their ambusher stalks as battering rams or missile launchers. Gun Troopers have a tendency to get destroyed quickly, making them Monster Mind cannon fodder.

The original humanoid Gun Grinner is apparently one of Saw Boss' lieutenants. There is some competition between Gun Grinner and Terror Tank over who can better suck up to Saw Boss. The two also argue over which one of them gets to annihilate Jayce -- if the Monster Minds ever succeed in battle!
