THE ROOT: Wheeled Warriors Vehicles: Snap Dragon

SNAP DRAGON
Toy Made:   No
Function:   Combat Vehicle
Special Equipment:
Snap Dragon sports a bizarre flower-mouth that opens to reveal a cannon. The cannon can fire both standard lasers and tractor beams. The cannon's tractor beam is a blue ray with the power to grab and pull objects toward the vehicle. The tractor beam's hold can be broken by inserting an object between the vehicle and its target.
Appearance:
Snap Dragon's a big metal pork barrel on legs. (Lizzard's Note: I think it looks rather like a pig with a flower stuck up its nose.) The chassis is dark blue in color. Snap Dragon's stubby legs have no discernable joints. The green and blue flower-mouth is located at the front of the vehicle.
History:
Snap Dragon is mainly used for extra muscle and heavy-duty ramming attacks. It can appear in a variety of sizes, ranging from ten times the size of the average trooper to a third of their size.
Several Snap Dragons blocked the path to Gillian's garden in Dreamworld. Jayce levitated them out of his way via Armed Force's anti-gravity rays, then dumped them on the pursuing troopers. In Hurricane Prison, a squad of Snap Dragons trapped the League vehicles in tractor beams, but the latter brought down a rockslide. The falling rocks became caught instead, being yanked backwards to flatten the Monster Minds. Saw Boss ordered dozens of Snap Troopers to invade the dune side of Ellipsus in Mirage Makers; they were defeated by the League allied with the mirage-casting natives.
Snap Dragon is not one of the original Monster Minds created by radiation in Audric's lab. It was created by the Monster Minds themselves later in the series. It has no humanoid form, as it is merely a living weapon.
