Vehicles: Trail Blazer

TRAIL BLAZER

Toy Made:   Yes

Function According to Toy Box:   Stalker

Special Equipment:

  • Buzz-Saw Arm: This device can be rammed into cliffs and mountainsides to dislodge Monster Minds and cause landslides. It can also be used to slice through objects.

  • Inner Storage: From its belly, Trail Blazer can lower a panel designed to pick up the smaller League vehicles and deposit them in its central hold.

  • Legs: Trail Blazer can kick, walk, run, and stomp with its legs. The legs give Trail Blazer an advantage in rocky terrain but in normal circumstances they cause the vehicle to move much slower than the rest of the Lighting League machines. The legs allow Trail Blazer to leap great distances when necessary.

  • Rear Gun: This is located on Trail Blazer's right back leg and emits bursts of laser fire.

  • Shoulder Gun: This weapon, located on Trail Blazer's front left side, emits lasers. It is occasionally used to deploy Mind-Messers as well.

Appearance:

Trail Blazer's a huge metallic cow. The body is white with grey and red accents. It has a narrow, rectangular shape with a slightly angled back panel. The cockpit, located in the "head" area, is a huge conical compartment with seats for four people. Trail Blazer moves on its four thick, powerful legs. Its buzz-saw arm, located just beneath its head, is a grey curved device with an enormous grey buzz-saw at the end.

History:

Trail Blazer was created by Gillian in the episode Escape from the Garden. It is primarily used for defense and heavy-duty backup.

It has fought Beast Walker to a standstill several times. During one such encounter in The Purple Tome episode, Trail Blazer was literally flattened when the Monster Minds' Battle Station ran over it; presumably, Trail Blazer had to be entirely rebuilt after this incident.

Herc and Jayce are the only ones seen operating Trail Blazer in the series, and have fun doing it.
